Eagles vs Cougars

The Burnaby Eagles fell just short of causing the upset of the round going down by 9 points to the Vancouver Cougars after leading at every change. With 13 players unavailable including last year’s best and fairest winner Dane Bergman, the Eagles’ endeavour was outstanding and outclassed their more fancied opponents for the first three quarters.

The signs are very positive for the remainder of the year and finals.

Delta Bay Hawks vs WC Saints

Delta smashed a complacent Saints team on Sunday by over 100 points. The Bayhawks completely outclassed the Saints from the bounce and had winners across the field bot Canadian and Australian. In their last hit-out before touring Australia with the International All Stars, Clayton and Andrew put in confidence boosting performances on the back of a dominant midfield performance from the Whistler crew.

Boys

Just wanted to pass on some details about Kelowna

DATE- 4th, 5th, and 6th

We are looking for one more player for the golf day to head with us on the Thursday night. Bergs is not playing golf but hes coming up with us though. It will be 3 ball best ball comp and teams will be named next Thursday night after training.

The cost of the golf is $45 for the round and our first tee time is 1.15pm on Friday and every 8mins after that till the last group tees off.

Pull carts are free but ride ons are $17 per person for the round.

Golf club hire is $20 for the round and if you don’t have any try find a mate that has a set that he can lend you.

Accommodation is booked at the same location as last year

I will have the van hire all organized by this weekend and we will be looking to get some guys to step up and drive them.
