Coach Bell adds to his family
The Burnaby Eagles Football Club would like to congratulate Matt, Cindy and Sienna on the safe arrival of their daughter/sister Imogen Bell-Marples. She was born at The Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster at 9.27 am on Friday February 20 and weighed in at 3.33 kg and 50.5 cm long. Cindy and Imogen are both healthy and doing really well.
Belly described the birth like this “Well boys Cindy was fantastic, she did all the 1 percenters which made her BOG in my books.” Imogen actually asked how the Crows went last night and when I told her she said “I’m really only looking forward to seeing the Burnaby Eagles play this year anyway.”
Next Training – Sunday February 22nd
The Eagles will again be training at Brockton Oval (rugby field), Stanley Park this coming Sunday at 1 pm. Please click here to view map.
Last Sunday’s session was sensational as the sun was shinning and it only looks to get better as the days are getting longer. If you are new to Vancouver or even new to Aussie Rules Football come along for a run or just spectate with the numerous dedicated Eagles supporters that are always there to support the boys. Contact coach Matt Bell for any queries.
After training, Moose’s Down Under will be opening their doors at 3.30pm for a very special event. A Sunday session to get together and raise money for all those who have lost so much in the recent bushfires back in Australia. Please bring as many family & friends as possible and give generously to support Australia’s worst ever Natural Disaster.
Next Training – Sunday February 15
